this was not the first time that most of all life on Earth was destroyed  and to date  only one of the Ginkgo plants is alive today but this species never made it  to modern day.The fossil record during the Paleocene is  very sparse and almost non available,and getting this type of fossil is hardere to get then Dinosaur teeth. .
